The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides workers with basic and more advanced training about common safety and health hazards on the job.
The 30-hour training program is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility and a greater depth and variety of training. All outreach training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. This training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not Cal/OSHA standards.
Note:Students will receive a Cal/OSHA 30-hour course completion card at the end of the training.
IMPORTANT: In accordance with the California Business and Professions Code, section 26051.5 (DIVISION 10.Cannabis [26000-26250]) employers with two or more employees must ensure one supervisor and one employee have successfully completed a Cal/OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Outreach Training Course offered by a training provider that is authorized by an OSHA Training Institute Education Center.
