This workshop is targeted toward legal professionals seeking to understand how “Artificial Intelligence” or “AI” is leveraged to create efficiencies and resolve practical issues commonly encountered in the civil litigation arena. Participants will be familiarized with various AI tools that are rapidly emerging in the law, and helping to reshape the ways attorneys and paralegals approach eDiscovery, analysis, and legal research. Topics will include the basics of electronically stored information (ESI), technology-assisted document review, technology-assisted document analysis, eDiscovery, and an overview of the AI tools paralegals may expect to encounter, and be tasked to use, in the workplace.
