Philippe Honore is a seasoned Project Manager with more than 15 years of experience in seven countries in diverse industries. With a background in architecture, Philippe had the opportunity to work in France, the Netherlands, the Middle East and multiple countries in Africa. He managed a portfolio of 450 cellular phone sites such as rooftop installations and cellphone towers in 5 regions in France. As an expatriate, his responsibility ranged from training a team of 20 construction managers in Egypt to managing a project portfolio of 100 sites in Ghana handling 47 subcontractors with limited budget and resources.
 
Philippe reinvented himself in 2011 by going back to school in the United States. He obtained his Green Card in 2013 and held a position of Director of Finance of a Treatment Center in Florida that needed to build an efficient financial department from the ground up. Philippe moved to San Diego in March 2017 where he has been providing consulting services to local small and mid-size organizations in Business Management specialized in Change Management and Cultural Diversity Management.
 
He also works as a Project Manager for AVID, a non-profit organization that provides programs, products, and services to teachers in 47 states and three countries to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
 
Philippe teaches Principles of Business to college students at the NewSchool of Architecture and Design and is a frequent public speaker on Cultural Diversity for the French-American Chamber of Commerce, UCSD Extension, PMI (San Diego Chapter), ProjectManagement.com, and Junior Achievement.
 
Philippe is PMP Certified and holds an MBA in International Business from Florida Atlantic University and recently enrolled at USD SOLES (School of Leadership and Education Sciences) to work on his Ph.D. in Leadership concentrating his research on how cultural diversity within boards of directors positively impacts organizations’ profitability.
