Have you ever wanted to take an up close look at the microscopic world around us? In this hands-on biology course we will use our very own microscopes to observe and understand cells, animal body parts, and even living bacteria! We will also extract and view the very instructions that code for all life on our planet: DNA! This is an introductory biology class and no extensive previous knowledge of cells is required. Be prepared to have your mind blown!
 

What You Will Learn

 
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
● Understand the structure an function of basic cells
● Operate a compound microscope
● Identify and describe various specimen including tissues, and microorganisms
● Extract, view, and describe DNA and its function for all living organisms
