Course 3 in Business Management for High Schoolers
This course will allow high school students to refine the skills required for professional leadership by practicing business management techniques in small-group settings. High school students will examine day-to-day management challenges in the workplace, determine alternative responses and approaches, and recommend solutions with appropriate feedback. Case studies will give participants a chance to integrate all they have learned about the many dimensions of technical and interpersonal management.

Jacqueline Rodio is the Associate Director of Program Services for the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) and Master of Finance (MFIN) programs at the Paul Merage School of Business. She brings nine years of experience in operations and project management.
Prior to joining the Merage team in 2014, Jacqueline managed the Graduate Accountancy Programs (MACC & MTAX) for the School of Business Administration at University of San Diego. Early in her career, she worked for a $5.8 billion national clinical lab as patient billing and customer service manager. She assisted senior management in strategic planning, development, and leadership as well as day-to-day operations management of the company’s San Diego office.
