Understand And Apply The Essential Principles of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Audio/Video Processing

Wireless networks have empowered smart cities and homes as well as work, gaming, and entertainment in the cloud. The powerful combination of wireless networks and media streaming further expands the reach of on-the-go entertainment. In this program, high school students will gain a solid background in popular wireless technologies as well as digital content applications involving audio, video, image, and augmented reality.

Learning Format:


Online | 9 Months

Enjoy the flexibility of learning at your own pace. Courses are 100 percent online, with no in-person meetings. You will have access to the course materials for about 10 weeks per course.

What you will learn:


  • Wi-Fi core modules and frequency bands
  • Wi-Fi link adaptation, channel sensing, and multi-antenna capabilities
  • Wi-Fi security and power management protocols
  • Techniques to enhance Wi-Fi performance for typical deployments
  • Bluetooth connection modes, profiles, pairing, and authentication
  • Bluetooth location and positioning services, and audio sharing/streaming
  • Bluetooth development, testing, and sniffer platforms
  • Audio and video codec architectures
  • Tradeoffs in coding efficiency and scene complexity
  • Adaptive video streaming platforms
  • Immersive communications using augmented reality
  • Artificial intelligence in image and speech processing

*Please note this program is a cohort. Enrolled high school students will take all 3 courses together and in order.

Pay as You Go $350 Per Course:

Scholarships:
