A Little Help Goes a Long Way

Our scholarships are a fantastic way for students to get full access to Futures programs. Currently, we offer scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis to individuals interested in pursuing one of our programs. This page will always have the most up to date information regarding scholarship availability and application instructions. Currently, scholarships are being awarded based on the below criteria:

  • Applicants who receive free or reduced lunch are the only ones qualified to apply/receive the scholarship.
  • Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Scholarship application period is from August 3, 2020 through September 4, 2020.

About Futures

Though similar to existing UC San Diego Extension certificates, Futures provides high school students the direct opportunity to participate in courses and programs that not only provide them with real-world skills, but also opportunities for internships, professional employment, and educational advancement. In addition, parents/guardians have the opportunity to take these courses alongside their students strengthening the sense of community and pride within the family unit. Futures is designed for all high school students.
