The course will familiarize students with the fundamentals of the blue economy and methods for blue economy
planning. Students will learn how to set objectives, define and prioritize short, medium, and long-term actions,
and options for mainstreaming blue economy into policy frameworks and institutions. They will also explore
quantitative analyses to inform blue economy planning. The lessons will focus heavily on the practical
application of blue economy planning through case studies.
