Build essential copywriting skills to professionally use long-form writing techniques for User Experience, such as What’s In It For Me (WIIFM) and Storytelling, to create engaging, integrated marketing campaigns and assets. The various styles and mediums of long-form content, such as emails, promotional materials, press and news content, website content, blogging and more will be covered. The goal will be to write copy using various forms of writing styles. We will discuss the process and create a Style Guide and Messaging Matrix for clients or employers in order to codify your learnings into a cohesive takeaway experience.

Lauren is currently a Content Marketing Manager at a FinTech startup, Leadfeeder, a lead generation and sales intelligence tool. Prior to Leadfeeder, Lauren was an award-winning journalist at Triathlete Magazine , a content and product marketer at Road Runner Sports, the Rock-n-Roll Marathon, Digital Telepathy and several nationwide creative agencies. She attended UC San Diego with a BA in European History, and her Masters from San Diego State University in Writing and Rhetoric Studies. When she's not spending quality time with her young daughter, she can be found teaching and mentoring to other aspiring writers and marketers.
