This comprehensive course is an introduction to: human resource strategic planning, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, compensation and reward systems, benefits design and administration, diversity and multiculturalism, employee and labor relations, federal and state labor laws, health and safety, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. The course content balances theory with practical knowledge that can be used right away.  It is designed for people interested in learning more about HR, new or current HR practitioners, or anyone responsible for managing a business and people.

Other Credits: This course is approved for 36 hours of continuing education credit.

Note: This should be the first course taken by any student intending to complete the Human Resource Management Certificate.
This course can be taken on a stand-alone basis, or counted towards our Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management.
